President and Founder of Neurosomatic Therapy
Randall Clark is one of the world’s pre-eminent experts on Neurosomatic Therapy. Since he began studying with Paul St. John in 1998, Mr. Clark has promoted and advanced this emerging field of manual therapy as a therapist, instructor, author and international lecturer. In 2011 he co-founded the Center for Neurosomatic Studies, a groundbreaking school that combines massage, personal training and Neurosomatic Therapy into one 18-month training program.
Early Education
Randall Clark obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors from the University of South Florida in 1996. He attended the Suncoast Center for Natural Health in 1998 where he received his national and state of Florida certification in Massage Therapy. In 2001, Randall became certified through St. John Neuromuscular Therapy Seminars in the St. John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy.
While enrolled as a pre-med student at the University of South Florida, Randall worked in the medical field in a variety of positions: serving as a Nursing Assistant in several nursing homes; working as a Home Health Aid with terminally ill children; and providing radiology transport at the University Community Hospital in Tampa, Fl. During this time Randall also completed his thesis in biochemistry at the University of South Florida Medical School, gaining further exposure to the career opportunities available to him as a future medical doctor.
Discovering His Path
Through these collective experiences Randall came to understand that his passion for healing through a whole body approach would not be fulfilled as a conventional medical doctor. He considered many different disciplines, including chiropractics, physical therapy, and naturopathy before finding the St. John method of Neuromuscular Therapy. It was Paul St. John’s integrative approach to pain relief that finally satisfied Randall’s passion for treating the body as a whole.
Focused on NST and Pain Treatment
In 2001, Randall obtained his certification in Neuromuscular Therapy and began working at the St. John Neuromuscular Pain Relief Institute. Performing under the tutorage of Paul St. John, the founder of Neuromuscular Therapy, Randall progressed as a therapist and in 2002 began teaching seminars on these powerful techniques. Randall Clark continues to lecture to health professionals nationwide and now works hand in hand with Mr. St. John in developing and promoting the system they believe will change the way the world addresses chronic pain.
In July of 2004, Randall Clark founded the St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center in Clearwater, Fl. where he and Paul St. John, along with several certified neuromuscular therapists, currently serve the needs of an international clientele. In 2005 Randall co-founded Neurosomatic Educators, the teaching branch for the emerging field of Integrative Neurosomatic Therapy. Through this company Mr. Clark has had the opportunity to present his work at the World Congress on Posturology in Bucharest, Romania in 2006 and again in Sao Paolo, Brazil in 2008 and continues to promote the value of these techniques internationally.
